Tamil Cinema:Actor Nagesh passes away
The Tamil film industry’s longstanding comedian and character artist Nagesh died following a heart attack here on Saturday morning, he was 76. He was a path breaker in Comedy with his unique acting style. Some of his movies like Thiruvilayadal(திருவிளையாடல்), Server Sundaram(சர்வர் சுந்தரம் ) and Kadhalikka Neramillai (காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை )will stay in everyone's memory forever. He has over 500 films to his credit and he even played a role in Kamalhasan's recent hit Dasavatharam. The whole Kollywood fraternity paid homage to the veteran actor at his house. Tamil cinema would surely miss Nagesh. May his soul rest in peace
Slumdog Millionaire:Profits to go into funds
The movie Slumdog Millionaire has been a revelation, from nowhere its gone on to make 10 oscar nominations and had already won lot of awards including the Golden globe and SAG awards. Now the director of the movie, Danny Boyle has announced that profits from the movie would go into helping people in Mumbai slumps, the very place were the movie was made. This comes as a pleasant surprise for me as I was not happy with the way Danny Boyle has shown the city(though most of them are true). But this shows the affection he has towards the people living there. Hope the money reaches those who deserve......

Colonial Cousins set to rock Kollywood
The Colonial Cousins, Hariharan and Leslie Lewis are set to enter Kollywood with their music directorial debut in Saran's Modhi Vilayadu (மோதி விளையாடு ) . They both have strong connections with Tamil Nadu. Hariharan, though is based in Mumbai is from Chennai and Leslie's father is from Coimbatore. Who can forget the tunes of "Colonial Cousins"....I still love them and that ushered a new era in Indian music. Similarly we can expect them to come with some sizzling numbers in "Modhi Vilayadu". And with a director like Saran present, we can always expect good songs. I'm eagerly waiting for their music as they gear of for the release of "Colonial Cousins Once More"

Shifted to new project
I have been just shifted from my first project to another new project. We joined the company only in December and were put into a project straight away. Though we were simply sitting for a couple of weeks, we got work afterwards. And after a month and a half, I've been put into a new project. My work in that project will start from Monday and I'm looking forward to contributing to the project and also learn from my team members.
IPL:Second Auction
The IPL fever in India will soon catch up and with the second player auction coming up, fans will get excited from now onwards. And looking at the players list, I could not stop laughing. 114 players are being put on the board and those like Pietersen, Flintoff and Clarke are valued in millions. So how do u expect the franchises to purchase most of them with $2 million. And also each team can have only 10 overseas players. With the teams having nearly 7-8 players as of now, we can expect a maximum of 20 players being sold at the auction. And I could not control my laughter when I saw Darren Gough and Dominic Cork's name on the list. What are they doing here at their age!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
